the ELLEN degeneres show, Hollywood road trip!...Part 1

So me and my three friends, Melissa, Adrian, and Andrea got tickets to the Ellen show in California.  We went down, had a blast in Hollywood and a really  great time driving, believe it or not.  We showed up early for the Ellen show to check in and get in line and there were a lot of people there. Come to find out, she had two tapings that day, we asked who was going to be one and found out it was Vanessa Hudgens, and well since I am a little bit obessed with Zac Effron and HSM, we asked if we could switch tapings, well that was a no, but they asked if we wanted to be in the Riff Raff room... OK that was more fun than being in the audience.  We were dancing, doing the limbo, the Congo line, they were handing out free T-shirts, it was a party.  The best part of all was when they did a raffle for the Ellen's Christmas give-away show... and they drew my number!  We were all jumping up and down, screaming like little girls.  So the four of us are going back to Hollywood Dec. 15th for the Christmas show and prizes!  After that taping, we were in the audience and it was a lot of fun.  We were on the aisle Ellen dances across, and Hilary Swank comes out dressed like Ellen for Halloween and also dances right with us, We also saw Bonnie Hunt and Warren Sapp.  That night we went to Wicked on Broadway, it was Awesome.  All in All it was a blast!  Thanks for making it so much fun girls!
Stay tuned for Ellen, Hollywood road trip, part 2, he he he ha ha.

Painted Pumpkins

My sister Shalise and I  took the boys the other night to pick out some pumpkins, Zane loved it, Noah not so happy, well at least in the picture, He was yelling at me for taking his picture(for who knows what reason).  He cheered up when we got home and started painting, this is way more fun to my kids than trying to carve them, carving is pretty hard and requires too much parent help.

The Happiest Place on Earth...

We just got back from disneyland this week and we had the best time!  It was really hot but we waited in only one line...for the new Toy Story ride which we went on a couple of times, it was by far Zane's favorite!  Zane also loved Splash Mountain and Soarin' over California, he wanted to ride Indiana Jones so bad and was standing as tall as he could under the height sign, but was still a little to short.  Noah was ready to just ride anything and everything, of course he couldn't so I had to distract him several times.  We got to stay at the Disneyland Hotel which was really nice and a lot of fun.  We spend one day just hanging out at the pool...which was Neverland!  Just "magical."  Downtown Disney is also great and being in the park during Halloween was really fun to see.  All the characters were even dressed in their costumes.  Zane and Noah wore their costumes one day, Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

FaLL leAves and HoT doGs

Kameo and I took the kids up the canyon the other night to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves and to have hot dogs and smores.  We had a great time... nothing like building a fire with the help of gasoline.  We told all the kids to go get a stick for their marshmallows.  Noah is so cute... look at the size of the stick he had for his marshmallow, sticking his whole hand the fire.  And Gabby did a great job at roasting the hot dogs for everyone.

Soccer buddies

Zane and Gavin were on the same soccer team this year.   It was so fun watching them play "magnet ball",  Zane would get frustrated because you would literally have to fight the crowd to kick the ball.  He really liked playing goalie the best!  Way to go guys!

funny Noah...

We were at Discovery Park the other day and Noah kept drinking at the drinking fountain while we were trying to leave I finally said "come on, let's go!"  He came over kind-of laughing and said, "mom i drink so much water and my tummy is goin' get so big like grandpas"  Oh we love you grandpa gallagher.  (Even he had a laugh at it)
