DECEMBER

Couples Christmas Party, it was great to all get together with our Hubbies, have dinner and play games.

Wrapping presents...

Temple Square.  I love it so much this time of year

All the snow is so fun for the boys and all the other kids in the neighborhood..this is were they like to sled, called the "toilet bowl"

Talk to the belly

So we went to the 12 days of giveaways on the Ellen Degeneres show and had a great time...we won a Blue Ray DVD player, Mama Mia Blue Ray Disc, a 26 inch plasma TV, and a 300 dollar giftcard to IKEA.  We were all really excited with the prizes then thought it was pretty funny when we had to fit 4 TV's and DVD player in the back of our car, on top of our luggage, we did it, couldn't see out the back window, but we did it.   While we were at the show, Ellen dances through the audience, dances past me, pointing to my belly, Adrian says "its twins" (for no reason at all) Ellen, surprised "really"  then leans over right up to my belly and says "hi babies"  it was funny.  The 72 hour trip was a lot of fun to have a little break from the children and just laugh with girlfriends and we were very lucky to have had good driving weather.

aLL i wAnT for ChRisTmAs

We got to see Santa at Zane's preschool open house... He told me that was the real Santa, the Santa on the Polar Express was just a helper.  Zane had made his Christmas list by cutting out and glueing the pictures of the lego police station and police helmet.  It makes me excited that he is so excited for Christmas, and he knows mommy has Santa's phone number "wink-wink"  We use that threat a lot during this time of year.

Seeing Trees...

My Mom, Aunt, Sisters and our kids went up to the FESTIVAL OF TREES last week.  It was a lot of fun and there was a lot to see, we for sure didn't make it down each aisle, but still saw so much. We even pinpointed the tree my cousin Abbie made in honor of her Grandma Smith.

"All Aboard"

We took the boys to ride the POLAR EXPRESS, aka the Heber Creeper.  It was so awesome, the kids felt like they were on the movie, going right up to the North Pole.  Zane's only disappointment was when we got to the North Pole, he didn't get to get off the train and walk around the elf village.  We enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies, christmas carols, Santa aboard giving out bells, but most importantly the Conductor punching Zane's ticket.  He kept asking me for a week, if the conductor was going to punch his ticket.  They loved it, and although mom and dad opted out for wearing their jammies, the boys insisted.

About the room...

No the little boys room does not stay looking so neat and clean all the time.  This is what it usually looks like in the morning after they have had their way with it all night,  sometimes better, a lot of times worse.   Love them anyway!!!
