my new crazy hobby

I have spent a little too much time lately making these fun necklaces.

We had a family night at the Bradys roasting hot dogs and smores than we made our family tree for lesson, we had everyone draw a self portrait and tie it to the tree. It was fun and quite humorous. Aaron & Rachel.... we missed ya, but Nicole had you covered with super cute stick figures.

We took the kids out for a little hike and they had so much fun. Bella loves the backpack so much... I'm tempted to take her to the grocery store in it.

how to train your little boys

So my boys loved How to Train your Dragon and want to play vikings vs. dragons all the time now. We didn't have viking hats so we whipped up some tinfoil horns and hot glued them to a helmet and they were well entertained for the afternoon.

Go UTES!

Kameo and I took the kids to the Red & White game at the U of U. Gavin and Caleb are the biggest Utah fans and have convinced take to jump on board... I'm all about it, because I am a Ute, but Ryan doesn't think it is good in any way and will actually argue with Zane over it. They had a great time and loved to go get signature after the game from Swoop and a bunch of players.

Easter

Easter Sunday was such a great day! It was Zane's real birthday and he requested breakfast in bed and a scavenger hunt to find his presents. funny boy. I told him before he went to bed to come wake me if he wakes up before me, he comes in and says "Mom are you going to bring me my breakfast already!" Whoa sorry. We then woke up Bella and Noah so they could do the whole easter bunny thing and hunt around the house for eggs. All Bella cared about was the suckers in her basket! We hid once last egg really good and it had a deflated ballon that he had to blow up to read the clue on it, which led to another clue ballon and another until he found his presents. He gets so excited about clues and hunts!

I saw this great idea on Studio 5 to do color coordinated baskets and was pretty excited to just that!

We sat around and got to watch Conference and we enjoyed the day so much, I love Conference weekend! We then went to the Brady's for a yummy feast and more birthday celebration for Zane! And my favorite easter egg hunt!

I love this picture because Bella is quite the novelty with the cute Brady girls, they can't get enough of her!

easter saturday

We went to the easter egg hunt at Home Depot in the morning, which was pretty cool. Indoor from the rain and cold and the kids were happy with their loot.

Later in the afternoon we were able to go to another easter egg hunt and picnic lunch that our neighborhood had put together, and Bella was so cute trotting around picking up enough candy to fill her hands.

We even got to see the semi-creepy Easter bunny

Zane's Birthday

Zane had a super fun ARMY birthday party... 6 years old, I can't believe it, it's freaking me out. He was so excited for his birthday! While he was at school, we set up everything and he came home so pumped, put his own black eye on (if you couldn't tell) all over his face and ran around before any of his friends came with his machine gun in full character and was so happy.

All his little buddies came, got decked out in army gear and we made them do push-ups (which was hilarious) and jumping jacks and played all kinds of games... steal the flag was a hit with them and so were the water grenades.

The best part and made it all worth it when I overheard him lean over to his friend and say "isn't my birthday party so awesome"

Zane is such a big boy now and is reminding me of it when he does things.

He is such a good sleeper and eater, tries most everything.

He is so creative and makes me laugh everyday!

He loves to play outside, ride his bike and play baseball

He hates to do his chores and homework is not always so easy
