Baby Claire

My sister Amber just had her baby, Claire, 6 lbs 13 oz.  She is so cute and tiny, she makes Bella look so big.  Mom and baby are doing well and her big sister is thrilled to have her in her life.  Amber tried putting a headband bow on her, but her head is so tiny, it would slide down with the smallest of movement.  Ooohh, isn't she cute!

So you think you can dance...under the stars

My mom invited me to Dancing under the stars at the Scera over the weekend and it was sooo good!  I am in love with the show So you think you can dance, so you can guess how excited I was when the MC's were Geve, Randi, and Brandon from the show, and they were performing!

Geve totally stole the show with his solo, it was unreal!
Brandon performed his "famous" dance that was credited as "the best solo we have ever seen on the show" by Nigel
Bella was totally into it, she stood up on our laps and wiggled her arms for the entire first half, it was so cute.
Randi and partner doing the jive.
Me, Bella, Geve (he is my new favorite!)
Brandon
Me, Randi, Shalise
You know, "the butt dance"
Oh and the cutest part of the whole show was when the two little boys, mini Zac and Corbin from HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 performed a hip hop number.  This is as close as I'm going to get to Troy Bolton/Zac Efron.  It was actually my niece Avery's idea to stay and see if she could get a picture with little Corbin, once they came out and ran over there and she kind-of freaked out and got all shy and would not go close to them at all, so this picture is for her.
Oh and Zane and Gavin were both pretty impressed with the picture of them, and that I was able to see them perform.  This is Zane and Gavin doing the dance "The boys are back" from High School Musical 3,  it is hilarious to watch as they try to copy their moves.  I have it on video from more than one occasion, they are getting pretty good, i'll try to post it.

month five

Every time Bella is laying on her back, she does these sit-ups.  It is so crazy, like she is trying to sit right up, it cracks us up, she is going to have abs of steel!

Bella at 5 months old:  She is getting more and more fun, she is awake for most of the day and it's kinda crazy, but she goes to sleep @ 10 every night and sleeps thru the night like a good girl.  She weights about 13 pounds and is still wearing mostly 0-3 months clothes, but she is growing and has gotten a lot bigger.  We lay her on a blanket with a few toys and she will roll all over in weird directions, just as happy as can be, but is short-lived.  We can get her to giggle a little more now, and it is the sweetest thing in the world, the boys think its great!  She loves her standing "hop&bop" thing, its her favorite.

My little KinDerGarteneR!

Wow, I cannot believe we have a child in kindergarten.  His 1st week went really well, he started on Monday.  I was so excited and happy for him to start school this year.  At the end of the school year we told him how he was going into kindergarten and that he would be going to school everyday.  His response was "oooh, I don't want to go to school everyday!"  Now that he has had time to ponder that over the summer, he has been really excited to go each day.
For his first day of school, I left a clue for him as he woke up to follow the clues as he gets ready for school, eat breakfast, brush your teeth.... until he found his  school bag where he found a note and a new hat to where to school.  He was so excited about it!  He told me the next night as he was going to bed "Mom, make sure you put up those clues again, because when you do that it makes me a gooder student"  maybe I should so he can become a better student, instead of gooder.
Off to school...no that is not 2nd grade, just peace!
We left this giant candy filled pencil for him when he came home,  he again was pretty excited and asked everyday this week if I would please refill it with candy for when he gets home.  What a cutie, I just love him!  He loved his first day of school!  He was really excited and energetic when I picked him up, he was excited that they had the same toys to play with like in his old classroom.  I asked if he had any of his friends from last year in his class and he told me "yes, and there is 3 girls and 1000 boys in my class."   There is actually only 10 kids in his class, which I was excited about.

Joe's Valley

Kameo and Danny invited us to their cabin at Joe's Valley, and let me say, we had a fun-filled couple of days, we would not expect anything less when going with the Campbell's.

Dan took us fishing for our 1st time, I was actually really excited about it and Ryan too.  Thanks to Dan we were catching lots of fish, and it's way fun that way.  (those are not all mine).
We learned how to gut the fish and we actually took them home and made them for dinner and it was yummy~

Whoa!  that is a lot of kids!
Zane loved doing hot laps around the cabin, we could not get him off of it.
My hot hubby, jumping the wake!

Lindon Days

Huck Finn day.  My boys are always ready to dress the part of someone else.
Ryan's parents live in Lindon, so we got to jump into all the festivities!  We went to the city breakfast in the morning, right after Zane's soccer game, then on to the parade.   After they were loaded up with enough sugar we went to the park and played all afternoon.  It was a lot of fun!

That night we all met up for the concert in the park and fireworks.  Grandma brought popcorn so Noah was one happy little boy.  It was really kind-of cold, we are feeling fall in the air...yeah!

end of summer fun...already????

I cannot believe how fast this summer has gone!  We tried to put in a lot of fun this past week, since Zane starts school on Monday!  We went to Thanksgiving Point for $2 tuesdays, everyone else had the same idea- it was pretty crowded, but we went to the gardens and they are so big, it was still a good time.  Noah wanted to take his picture by "the Noah"  and kept saying  while we were walking thru the gardens "are we going to go back to my ship now?"

Aunt Shalise & Bella

Kameo and I took the kids on a hike to the Battlecreek waterfall, everything was going really well, we made it to the bridge and they were all sitting on it, taking a break, and Gabby dropped her sandal in the water and it went floating on down.  You would have thought she had fallen in with the way she reacted.  We couldn't find it, so the kids played around for a while in the water before we left for home.

{Swimming Lessons}  We took swimming lessons for 2 weeks and I hope the boys enjoyed their classes because they will be repeating them next summer!  Noah started off really well then something happened in the "deep end" where he refused to go for the next few days.  He did go a couple more times as long as I sat right close to his class where he could wave to me and told his teachers that he is not going in the deep end.  Zane loved his class and was happy to go each day!  His favorite things were the canon ball jumps and watermelon crawl... that's what he said.
We went to Lindon Pool and PG Pool with friend and fam!  Bella totally loves the pool!  She is happy in the cool water and likes to splash with her newly discovered hands.

We had a fun day at Farmer Grandma's, with a picnic, water guns, and sprinklers.  We got to spend time with Oaklee and Rachel, we had a really fun time!

1st feeding

So we have tried a few times to feed this sweet girl and all she does is spit it out and gives me a look, like 'what is that you want me to do here' besides she seems to little to be eating solids.

cake sisters

Kameo and I decided it would be fun to try fondant cakes and see how easy or hard it is...well it is pretty tricky but with practice, could get easier.  We made this one for Danny, recently graduating from Firefighter/paramedic school, and works for the Lone Peak Fire Dept.  The other little cake was for Chloe's 1st  birthday!  They are very amateur, but it was fun and we'll probably do it again.
