Camping

1st camping trip of the year. We had a good, relaxing time, we love being out in nature, getting dirty and eating yummy food.

Last year we tried to get Zane to go on the zip line by himself and he always told us "No, when I'm 10 I'll go" 10, what! why 10? Anyway, he was kind of bored at one point over the weekend and I asked him if he was ready to go down the zip line...

He said yes and he loved it and then we couldn't get him off of it for the rest of the trip.

provo marathon

Kameo and Danny ran the Provo Marathon and Kameo qualified for the Boston marathon! I'm so proud of her, she is cool! Her kids slept over the night before and Savannah and I loaded them up early in the morning and headed over there to watch them cross the finish line. It was so exciting to be there.

orem rainfest

Orem Summerfest was quite the adventure with the little ones. Adrian was not giving up on her carnival even when it was pouring rain! It turned out to be so fun! We stopped at the dollar store and got them each an umbrella, we could have done just that and they would have been happy as can be. We got to the carnival and the rain soon stopped and they were able to ride all the rides with no lines and no crowds. We attended the parade the next night and it was the coldest parade i've ever been to.

ryan... ruining his summer

So Ryan went up to Sundance to ride his mountain bike (in full padded gear, by the way) On the last run he crashed and broke his collar bone and got a pretty good concussion. He was so crazy that night, repeating himself over and over again! repeating himself over and over again! Oh wait did I already say that?!? It was in the words of Zane, Ridonculos! It was pretty funny that he was so loopy until I finally had to tell him to stop talking and go to bed at ONe O' cLoCK in the MORNIng! I even started making up different stories when he asks what had happened.

Thankfully he wasn't hurt worse and that his mind is back to normal. He is pretty bummed about ruining his summer though.

birthdays & baseball

Katelyn turned 21! We threw her a little surprise party at the Scera, we she was rehearsing for Willy Wonka all night long. (Bella and my cute sisters)

The ball field is where you will find our family every night of the week with Zane playing on Mondays and Wednesdays and Noah playing on Tuesdays and Thursdays... if he plays that is. So far he is too tired and nervous for some reason to get out there, even though he was begging for me to sign him up this year.

Zane loves it! And I think he's really good too! :)

Coy's 6th birthday party!

Last week of school.....1st day of summer!

On the last day of school Zane had been hoping for a scavenger hunt/ clues around the house when he wakes up! (nothing makes him more excited) So Noah and I put one together of math problems he had to solve for the next clue. We got slushies after school and went to Gavin's to play on a bounce slide the neighborhood had rented and later he and Gabby came over for a sleepover on the deck, but because it was rainy and freezing we stayed inside, we played games, had pizza and popcorn and watched movies. In the morning we walked down to Daylight Doughnuts for breakfast! It was so much fun and made us pretty excited for summer. Yeah!

I can't believe Zane is all done with Kindergarten and on his way to 1st grade!! He had a fun last week of school! He got to wear his "WhipMan" Costume for superhero day and everyone was excited to see what he had be drawing all year long, (picture with teacher, Miss Alycesun)

This is the girly fights I've been referring this week.... how I got a picture you ask,? Well there were plenty of opportunities so I thought I would capture one and show it to them later......when they are best friends. It is pretty comical. We have been watching Chloe while her family went to Lake Powell and she really is so easy, just as long as they keep their distance.

I was going to make dinner and was thinking oh Im so smart, i'll give Bella a candy necklace and keep her busy......................

only to finish and look around at the cabinets, appliances, and my little boys covered in Bella's candy goo.

Ryan and I watched the series finale of 24 and were laughing about all the late nights we stayed up watching "one more episode"... sad to see it end, I feel like Jack Bauer is our friend.
