a little fabric and glue

before and after
I have been inspired by the amazing girl on makeitandloveit.blogspot.com she modge podge a pair of shoes for goodness sake! Everyone should check it out! Anyway and got a little anxious and fabric covered Bella's seat and my laptop!

No I did not put the fabric and glue directly on the computer! I have a hard case that snaps on and off and covered that... Ryan thought I was a little crazy but I love it!!!

happy birthday Shalise

My sweet little sister Shalise turned 25! We celebrated by throwing her a Surprise Twilight party! She has been insisting on having a Twilight Birthday party and my mom wanted to do a surprise this year, we (mom & sisters) tried to go with all the details she was planning on, like having "edwards blood punch" she would not let us forget. It turned out really good and fun, she was surprised and even got a little teary-eyed when she walked it to see all the friends and family there who love her to pieces. She was loaded up with some twilight loot, adding to her Team Jacob obsession.

I have been wanting to make these fun cake stands, and decided to get them done for her party! We went to d.i. got some random dishes and candle stick holders, I used some of my own and spray painted a few then used caulk to glue them together! I love how they turned out and will be using them to help decorate my kitchen.

mohawk

So Zane's hair was driving my crazy the other day and I decided to cut it... i've done it before. We start and it's going along well until I go to blend the top and I did the side way to far up and he looked pretty silly with a really bad bowl cut. I didn't think it was "saveable" so we started to buzz his head and for fun left it as a mohawk for one day... finished it off later that night. We went over to my mom's house and she asked " Zane what happened to your hair, you just decided you wanted it all off?" "No" he says "My mom just screwed it up so she had to buzz it off."

valentine

{My 3 sweet valentines}
valentines day was pretty low key at our home this year, I did like celebrating on a Sunday. We had sick kids so we stayed home all day, didn't even put make-up on! We had Pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, relaxed, and mom and dad kicked the door with a little goodie for our little ones. Earlier in the week it was fun to make up our valentines, Noah was really into writing his name on the back of his Hulk valentines for his class. Zane was also could not wait for his valentines party at school. I love my sweet little valentines so much, they fill my life with sugar!

boxes,boxes,boxes

even box cookies!
Zane has had way too much fun with these empty boxes...who needs toys...or beds!?!

getting crafty

So the Brady gals are doing a craft night once a month this year and for January we made our kids their Valentines shirts, and super cute Valentines sign to hang, it is so much fun! I actually made Bella's skirt and baby legs too!

Nine Years together!

We celebrated our 9 year anniversary
Ryan took the day off, partially, we do still have a nursing baby so the "getting-away options" are not very good. We did get to go to lunch and to see 'when in Rome.' Got back to the kiddos for awhile, then Went to enjoy dinner together at Market Street Grill, um Yum-o! We went home for dessert and watched our wedding video, I had just transferred to DVD, man we look young! We love this time of year and think our anniversary is the best time ever! I love my Man so much! He is the Best!
(can I just say, taking these photos of ourselves, with our arms out, are really not very flattering)
