month six

Already half a year old!  She is getting more active and more fun. I think this is my favorite age, well maybe besides newborn.  Bella knows now when I am trying to do something and not holding her, she also knows just what to do to change that.  She is starting to prefer her mom over others.  She is still a little peanut and so cute, she loves to giggle at her brothers and can roll across the room lickity split.  She is teething right now and she is being quite the diva about it too!

Can you see in the dark?

Ryan had taken the boys for the night to his office to hang out, they were playing in the back, out on the lawn, Ryan said "Noah, come back closer to the house, it's getting dark and I don't want you to get hurt"  Noah turned around and looked at him confidently and said "Dad, I ate a carrot,...I can see in the dark"

Soccer 5

Another session down with soccer,  I am not sure we, Zane, will go for another one.  He told me "I like T-ball way more than soccer... you don't have to run as much in T-ball"  He was happy to go to soccer each time and enjoyed himself but was not to competitively into it.  He would get distracted very easily with what he was supposed to be doing and lets be honest, he didn't get the "fast" genes from mom and dad.  He did have a great time each week and was thrilled to be playing with his best friend Gavin.  We are proud of you Zane for all your hard work, we love to watch you play always.

A field trip to the Fire Dept.

Arrrgh

With two little boys, slightly obsessed with pirates, we had to try out the new
Pirate Island Pizza,
they have been waiting all summer for it to open, even calling Daddy on several occasion just to ask if he knew if it was opened yet?!   We decided that would be a great family night shindig and I let the boys know, Noah was so cute, I couldn't believe how excited he was, all day.  It was yummy, Brick Oven pizza and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake, and lots of fun, Chuck E. better watch his back...

yummmm

Raspberry jam is the one canning project we were able to do this year.  Ryan's parents provided lots of yummy raspberries from their garden and with 17 cups of sugar we have a delicious year supply of our most favorite raspberry jam!

Noah's first day of Preschool

Noah's First day of Preschool!
he was so excited to start school, he thinks he is pretty cool!  He was especially excited to keep up with Zane.  He did really good, went right in and had a great time.  I am so proud of you Noah and I can not believe you are getting bigger and bigger.
Since we gave Zane and pencil filled with candy on his first day of school, I surprised you with the same thing after your first day, you were happy!  When you walked out of the classroom, you had a huge smile on your face and and first thing you said was "I didn't even pee my pants"  Great I said, even though I'm not sure why, it's not like we were really concerned about it going in, but I'm glad.  Then we walked out to the car and he turned to Bella and in a sweet high-pitched voice asked, "Bella did you miss me while I was at school today?"
Of course you were most excited that Gabby is in your class!  We hope you get along all year!
